What RankIt is

RankIt is a collaborative ranking tool that lets you create lists, invite others to score items, and see a group consensus emerge. It's free to use.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use RankIt. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use RankIt to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or deceptive
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access non-public parts of the service
• Interfere with other users' access to the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You own the content you create on RankIt. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content to you and the members of your lists. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

RankIt is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data you store will never be lost. Use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankIt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use RankIt after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
